In 2009 a no-kissing sign was put up at the drop-off point at Warrington Bank Quay station as 'a light-hearted way of getting people to move on quickly'. Chiltern Railways responded by putting up a poster in their High Wycombe station actively encouraging people to kiss.

It said:

“ Unlike other train companies, we would never dream of banning kissing at our stations.”

Amen.
