When Hobart woman Sonia Singh posted photos of her Tree Change Dolls on the internet, she had no idea they would attract worldwide attention.
"It was just a little craft project and it really took off. It spread all around the world in just a couple of days ... it just got bigger and bigger."
In a world teeming with make-uped (made-up)* faces, where the beauty-overdrive-mode becomes the necessity of a necessity, this make-under movement is not only a refreshing change, but offers a perspective (and possibly an insight) of what we are feeding our children with, from practically day one.
