Monogamy is a form of relationship in which an individual has only one partner during his or her lifetime or at any one time (serial monogamy), as compared to polygyny, polyandry, or polyamory.
Maybe you thought that being faithful is reserved only for humans, but as it turns out, monogamous relationships are not reserved for us only. Here are some of the animals that find a mate for a lifetime:
